Description

Embark on an epic journey through Switzerland’s majestic Oberwallis region at the Swiss Alps 100. Choose from four breathtaking ultra-track options—each offering a unique challenge across rugged alpine landscapes.

📏 Race Formats:

Vertical (10.3 km / 1 830 m↑): Straight up Eggishorn, finishing beneath Matterhorn and Jungfrau panoramas.

50 km (3 210 m↑): Single-loop trail featuring Aletsch Glacier scenery and suspension-bridge crossings.

100 km (6 250 m↑): Extended alpine route with glacier views, two iconic suspension bridges, and a 27‑hour cutoff.

160 km (10 150 m↑): The ultimate test—traverse glacier fields, dams, and three suspension bridges. Complete in ≤24 h for a silver buckle or ≤48 h for bronze.

Thu: Registration & bib drop – Fiesch Sport Center

Fri: 07:30 – 160 km start • 09:00 – Vertical start (4 h cutoff)

Sat: 06:00 – 50 km start • 06:30 – 100 km start • 15:00 – Kids Run • Cutoffs throughout

Sun: Finish by ~09:30 (160 km) & ~10:00 (100 km)

🌄 Course Highlights:

- Trail routes wind through the UNESCO Aletsch Glacier, cross three suspension bridges, and summit Eggishorn.

- Challenging but scenic: expect steep ascents, technical sections, and glacier vistas

- Finishers earn medals, with exclusive buckles for the 160 km (silver/bronze).
